Route Climbed: South face Date Climbed: January 2006
Climbed this one from Camp 1 on Aconcagua. It would´ve been a lot more enjoyable if there had been snow; as it was much of the climb involved kicking up scree at high altitude (oh, joy). Still, the summit is great and the views of Aconcagua are pretty sweet as well....

Climbed from Camp 1 on our first "rest" day after the move up from Plaza Argentina. Very rewarding peak, with commanding views from which to ponder the impending ascent of Aconcaqua. The peak appears deceivingly close from the col.

Route Climbed: Ameghino Col Date Climbed: Late December 2004A nice acclimating hike from Camp 1. The scree is not all that fun, but the last few hundred feet to the top was a fun little scramble over rock.
