Climbed with my then fiancé Leila and also old climbing partner (dating back 20 years) Jon. Have had to guess at the date - but I think the year is right and it was summer! Fine remote route, which we accessed from Ogwen side, with Jon setting his usual blistering pace up to the pass. I led the climb - and then we traversed the Carnedds and descended via Pen Yr Ole... ('the old man with the white head' - can't spell the welsh name!). I'd forgotten the name of the climb but recognised the photos - especially the 'gendarme section' - reminiscent of the easier 'Pinnacle Ridge' in the Lake District (St Sunday Crag). And I remembered it was over 300m long!
A really nice route, if a little easy for the grade. Lovely climbing mind you. We did as a group of 3, each sharing the lead. I took the crux but Tom took the pinnacles; the pinnacles were more fun!
