Great mountains, the Wasatch front. I really enjoy that backdrop any time i"m in the Salt Lake - Provo area.
I'm enjoying all your nice pics.
Wow, I was guessing Himilayas when I first saw the photo. Sweet!
One of the most stunning photos I've seen of the Wasatch.
It was a very clear early spring day in late afternoon after a big storm. I did adjust the saturation a little after my scan but generally, my persistence paid off.
Looks like a golfcourse in front!
no way in hell I'd have guessed this was UT. Nice shot!
The relatively large telephoto I used distorts the view by compressing distances. The crazy thing is I was literally standing on the side of a busy street... not really **in** the mountains.
What a great photo. The green contrash with the snow and rock is amazing.
ps. I tried to vote but, somehow did not record. I will try later.
Thanks. Gotta love spring in the moutains!
Here's a big mountain that I climbed in 1954. It looks much more imposing in winter. I ultimately plan to be buried in the town of Alpine just to the south of it.
I must say that you have really covered the mountains of Utah. I enjoy looking at your pictures.
Thanks Nyle. I hope it is a long time until Alpine sees you!
Amazing abrupt transition from the perfect green carpet to the ice plastered mountain!
