A gorgeous day. About eight young people on top. They congratulated this old man for making it. The last half mile is more of a climbing route than a hiking trail.

First on the summit
Started the hike at 7:30am after catching the shuttle to the stop and made it to the top in 1 hour, 20 minutes. Had the summit all to myself for about 15 minutes, which was amazing. Passed at least 100 people going up while on the way down. Glad I left early in the morning. Amazing views!

Beautiful, Fun and Easy
Very surprised at ease of the trail and also the chain section. Incredible views of Zion Canyon. I enjoyed exploring around the summit to get away from the crowds, it was much larger than I had expected/read. Def. a must-do if in the area.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Hiked up with my sister and a bunch of Europeans on Thanksgiving Day. The weather was brisk but nice. Great time, but wish I could have the whole trail to myself. Guess I'm spoiled where I live!

trail
Great hike. I wish the parks had more of these to offer. Almost a via ferreta here in the good ole U.S.of A. Many scared tourists on top!

Rad!
So surprised to see the type of people that would get into this kind of hike. Definitely super crowded but totally worth it. Continued on to do a chunk of the West Rim Trail. Zion is magical place, despite the crowds.

Angel's Landing
Crowded, but worth it. Never know when you're going to be in Zion again. Hiked to Observation Point two days later. Incredible to see the people hiking Angel's Landing from Observation Point a few thousand miles higher. Crazy perspective.

Hot day, gorgeous views
First half of the hike (to Scouts Landing) is kind of a snooze (mostly just paved switchbacks), but the ridge and views at the end make this hike worth it. Plenty of chains to keep hold of en route to the top, but you really don't need them. Fun day hike!

Gorgeous!
Started this hike with sore quads from running the Bryce Canyon half the day prior. Sore legs made for an interesting adventure up the switchbacks and wiggles. Scramble was a bit intimidating on the way out. Fantastic views from the peak. Did some splits on peaks. #splitsonpeaks
Needing to use the conveniently located bathrooms made for a quick return to Scout's Landing.

The Climb That Never Gets Old
It Never Gets Old This Hike! I have done it 4 times and just am blown away every time at the view! It is simply gorgeous! The ridge line is always a great time as well!

Go early
Go early in the morning to avoid the zoo! It's faster since you don't have to pass anybody on the way up. I actually found it easier avoiding the chains most of the time. Outstanding views of the canyon for the moderate effort

Fun for kids.
We short-roped our 5 and 7 year old daughters up this on a perfect spring day. They were awesome little hikers.
