Steep and social hike  Sucess!

Fun hike everyone talks about in the park. Scary moment when a lady taking a photo stepped back and slipped, almost fell of the summit. Met a lot of people on the trail. Real fun!

Was a steep but straight forward hike. This was the beginning of my hiking days. Great view from the top on all sides.

Classic  Sucess!

It was a busy spring break weekend which made for some traffic jams on the last narrow stretch. Definitely an awesome hike.

Last Stop on 2004 Road Trip  Sucess!

Angel's Landing officially marked my love affair with Zion National Park. Climbed this peak years later with a bunch of friends who ABSOLUTELY fell in love with Zion too!

Angels in Chains  Sucess!

My girlfriend and I did this with the crowd. Less dangerous than expected and I am suprised I didn't get swine flu from the chains. Amazing views and lots of fun!

Great view for such an easy stroll  Sucess!

This hike sure has a lot of rewarding views for such an easy access! Very much worth doing. We had a California Condor land on the peak not more than 5 feet from us. We even included him in a "group" summit picture.

Angel's Landing via Grotto TH  Sucess!

Beautiful hike! Impressive views in all directions. Hiked up and back in about three hours, but heading back down was slowed due to all the people hiking up. I will definitely do this one over and over! Wasn't as strenuous as I had expected. The contrasts in rock color of Angel's Landing and the Great White Throne, and the Organ were breathtaking. A must for any hiker!

Nice!  Sucess!

One of the funner hikes I've done, Walters Wiggles is hardcore, and the last scramble is a blast (don't use the chains). I just wish there were less people, maybe Ill try it in the winter....

Fun and Classy  Sucess!

It was a good time. I especially enjoyed the panic of all the people who had never hiked or climbed at all ;)

I hope to return to Zion's soon.

First Trip to Zion  Sucess!

Did Angels Landing via the trail is 2 hours 50 minutes round trip. I think 2 hours 15 minutes would be a good time for me if I pushed it. Really great views. Did the class 3 sections without touching the chains. More fun that way I think. Part of a 7 day trip to Zion and Bryce with my wife to get out of the Seattle rain.

Age 18 Months  Sucess!

Went to the summit with Daddy, Mommy, Grandma, and Grandpa. My first class-3 route, at age 18 months. Daddy carried me, of course. But I did walk on the lower parts of the trail, near the Virgin River.
Daddy and I both love class-3 slickrock sandstone. I wasn't afraid at all on the climb, even while looking down 1500 feet to the valley floor below. I was asleep for the final stretch to the summit. Is it normal to sleep there?
