Angora  Sucess!

In spite of it being December, it was a warm and sunny day. Going up the steep road, you might say it was an "Angora sweater".

another one  Sucess!

With Karl and a large group on the whole tour. This is another summitlog where my original notes were deleted by an asshole hacker.

Beautiful area...  Sucess!

I first explored this area back on 2004, after seeing it from the summit of Onion Peak. I have visited Angora Peak area multiple times a year ever since. It's a beautiful and unique area amongst private timber land. The views of the Pacific Ocean and the Nehalem Valley below are awesome. There are many features included with this peak, including Angora Pinnacle, The Revenge of Angora pinnacle, and Little Angora pinnacle (the technical one). I’ve been up there so many times, I have a route that I’ve named Angora Grand Tour, which tags all the pinnacles, the summit of Angora, my favorite outcropping, and even a small rock hut in the forest.

Glad I found this summit  Sucess!

Hit this summit on a beautiful sunny February day. Excellent views of the volcanoes and the Pacific Ocean.
