Ants on the summit

We're on the ridge on our way to the northern summit of the Hochwilde, looking back at the southern summit where we just came from. Lots of people up there, because you can hike up the peak from the Italian side and it's a fantastic viewpoint. Traversing the ridge means scrambling, difficulty UIAA II, and the descent on the other side leads to a glacier, so the northern summit sees much less visitors. 10 July 2008.
