Approach to Williams Lake

This is a great shot of Williams Lake. Make sure you descend off Wheeler from the north side of the summit (not shown, but just out of view in the upper left). Otherwise, you will end up on the south side of the lake and have to traverse the east bank to get to the Williams Lake trail. In this shot, notice the rock cliff to the left. This is the cliff we traversed via some sketchy class 4+ moves over the frozen lake.
