We climbed Main-(North-), West- and South-peak in one day. It was a perfect day in the mountains. For photos and information (in German) see: http://www.hikr.org/tour/post70825.html
From Cari Lake, I climbed South, West and North summit then return to Cari Lake in 7.5 hours. My route went directly to the near eastern ridge of South summit and followed the ridge closely to North summit. Then I descended a chute with mucho loose rocks and crossed several snowfields to the saddle between South and West summit. Then traversed back around to lake. The North summit could rightfully be called Jenga Mountain. The knife ridge was scary.
From the lake across the southwest saddle to the north summit. Windy day! The knife ridge to the north summit was much enjoyed.
have only sneakers :) so only S summit, route to N summit the rock is not solid, rush stone ;)
Western summit over southern summit in 1:40 from meteo (Kali Lake). Day trip from Yerevan, all with marshrutkas/buses and hitch-hiking.
Starting from the Kari Lake quite late (10.30 a.m.) it was clear, that we can not climb all summits. Finally, Mkhitar and me succeded with North summit (side one 4080 m, not the main one 4090 m) and South Summit. More info at: http://uptherocks.com/content/view/50/ and http://palic.ho-vsetin.com/article/na-nejvyssi-vrchol-armenie-aragats-4090-m and
Beautiful easy skitour trek, two hours from Meteo to the South summit and fairy descent!!
I climbed these two summits in a good partly cloudy day with 7 friends of mine , all from Khorasan Razavi province of Iran , and our Armenian guide Mkhik . I can't forgot the beauties of Aragats' and Armenia's nature .
Kari lake, view of Ararat, view of the four summits and at last the nice people. I will never forget my beautiful days there. Cheers Armenia.
from the Kari lake
surrvived a hail 'carpet-bombing' during the descend
Climbed the main (North summit) in single-push from Aragats (1800 m). Skied down from below the summit.
