New Year's Fun
Started the new year off right. Led By Sheep. Fun, easy (5.5 IMO), runouts just made for more interesting climbing. We had a brilliant, warm day with only a couple people seen. Definitely want to go back.

Great tower
Excellent beginner "desert tower"! Beautiful location. It feels a bit run out to lead, and can be really sandy, but is a great climb!

Nice Summit
Climbed Led By Sheep on a perfect day. No crowds, only amazing sandstone features! We saw some Bighorn Sheep in route to the climb!

really fun, easy 5.6 or 5.7, 4 or 5 pitches. great, great introduction to climbing in zion. puts the hook in solid for future adventures.

Fun climb, 3x
4/21/11 - 6 of us climbed very efficiently as 3 rope teams, with each pair swinging leads. I led P2 & P4. Good old super sandy Zion slickrock, gotta love it. Rapid simulrapping descent with 6 60 meter ropes and good teamwork. Great few hour adventure with great folks.
4/8/12 - Led for my little brother and his buddy.
11/20/18 - With Kevin after South Ariel Peak. Crowded - 3 other parties on the route. This thing is getting stepped out! Footholds are growing larger, making the climb easier.

In runners
Climbed this peak with CP, DB, and Rosie. Having been advised by CP that we didn't need to bring our rock shoes, we climbed it in runners. It was fine (we didn't _need_ them), but were I to do it again, I'd probably bring the rock shoes for a bit more security. Fantastic views and a great way to spend the morning! Thanks to CP for leading!
to the summit. The last pitch passes two pitons then jogs left to loose 3rd class scrambling to the summit. I stayed right and did some of the best (5.6), albeit loose, climbing of the route. Belay behind a big rock. Climbed with Rick. Gorgeous views. Could be too hot to climb on a warm day.

Bad timing.
I did this one late in the evening thinking we wouldn't take too long. Ended up on top after the sun had gone down. By the time we got back to the car it was 11pm. We had a blast though, I definitely want to do it again. Great views.

We do :)
Hi Dow,
Bo has this on our site, but you did the climb before he did, so it was not on the net when you wrote this up. I agree with you.. the east side is awesome. We spent the day there today.. gorgeous! :)

SE Face
With Courtney. Truly beautiful area, but damn, the rock here spooks me!
*Awesome* weekend--did Keyhole Cyn after this (short and fun), then Peak 7,111/Das Boot/The Subway on Sun. Super, super enjoyable. I can't wait to go back to do some more canyoneering in the fall.

SE Face (5.6)
4 pitches. Largely 4th-easy 5th with the occasional 5.6(ish) move. Really fun, actually.
-5/19/07: With Matthew Holliman. Cooled off in Keyhole Canyon (perhaps my 6th time through) afterward.
-9/23/07: Returned and did it again with Day Hiker and DB0915.
-04/26/08: Did it again with Aron Ralston and DB. Afterward, we traversed east from the col and dropped into upper Keyhole - my first time through full Keyhole. A swim, nice slots and downclimbs...and a decomposing deer dripping brainmatter into a rank pool of maggots.
-5/2009: With Ram after romping through a very icy Echo Canyon earlier in the day. It was Ram's first time up Aires.
-4/25/10: With DB, James Hiebert and Rosie from Victoria.
