It is one of my favorites. But it is also a composition that is fairly well known in photography circles as goes us Sierra backcountry types. Perhaps that is why it did not garner more attention.

This shot, like many others, is another great memory for my lifetime. My Bench Lake trip was one of my best ever, if not the best. Probably true for that photo as well. But credit where credit is due... a good deal of the beauty in that photo is the location. This humble photographer simply managed to not mess it up.
