The spire is called Cube Point. The east ridge route is a classic warm-up climb. Easy climbing on good rock with some good exposure.

These pics are beautiful! I spent a lot of time out there this summer, and this was my favorite canyon. If you want to get away from some crowds on your next trip try avalanche canyon. There aren't any maintained trails up there so you can avoid the crowds. Lake Taminah is really pretty!
