At the spot a couple miles up...

At the spot a couple miles up the Barr Trail where the trail comes close to the old Manitou Incline, this is the view down the Incline. Taken February of 1999. I'm told that climbing up the Incline is severely frowned upon. It used to be a great work out and "short cut" of sorts.

Incline is fine

So many people run up and down the Incline, it's safe to say you too could if you wished to. Best bet is to only go up and then descend the Barr trail. Things are in the works to deed the Incline over to the city and make it all legal.
