Avalanche Canyon Approach

Late afternoon on the approach to Buck Mountain for a climb of the northeast chimney route. The photo is looking west just before the divide between the north and south forks of Avalanche Canyon. The south fork is the branch ahead to the left, and Buck Mountain is just visible through the notch. April 28, 2006
