AVALANCHE LAKE-GLACIER NATIONAL PARK-MT (1968)
This image, taken in late afternoon in August, 1968, shows the classic view of Avalanche Lake. We visited this lake again in July, 2008. It appears as if the trail has gotten longer and steeper, or , 40 years have passed.
