B-7 Pillar

B-7 Pillar

This pillar is north of Iceberg Peak along the Pinnacle Wall, part of the Ptarmigan Wall that stretches from Ptarmigan Pass to Ahern Pass. The pillar is a multi-pitch Class 5 climb that goes at almost Glacier Park Class 6 on one pitch. Chief Mountain is back and center. From Iceberg Peak Glacier National Park, MT-- July 2008

Re: wow

Sounds scary, too. When I was approaching Iceberg Lake, I was looking at it and imagining I saw a Class 4 route. Then I remembered this picture, not to mention the Edwards descriptions!
