<b>Snowdrops</b> - <i>Galanthus nivalis</i>

Snowdrops - Galanthus nivalis

Found several of them at a surprisingly late time (the usual flowering time is February-March) near Nagy-Hideg-hegy (Big Cold Mountain). Seems to be a proof that the name of the mountain is not accidental. (Börzsöny Mountains - 18. Apr. 2010.)

I meant the deceased :) Silesia's lowland is not that cold. Some people try to grow peach trees here. (Once I bought some of the fruit - it wasn't a good idea. :))

Never again will I buy a peach grown north of the Big Cold Mountain. LOL
