Lovely shot

I LOVE this area! I spent many a wonderful day here. Coming up from Little Fish Fork one day, though I stepped on a large log and then heard a loud rattle! I believe I would have been struck at if I had steeped over the log by the largest Pacific Rattler I'd ever encountered in the Angeles. These rattlers--seldom seen above 6000 ft. grow quite old when found at 9100 ft where this one I saw was located.

Love this area as well. Also, seen my share of rattlesnakes and just hope to not meet a nasty one.
