Nice peak  Sucess!

Wonderful late summer day (just days before Fall). Walked the ridge from here to Baker but lost too much time to add another. Nice place I now need to get back to!

Loved it  Sucess!

What a great climb, great weather and great company. We traveresed down the ridge to the saddle and hiked up to Baker Peak.

Thanks JP!

If you are headed to Baker Lake  Sucess!

You might as well try to climb this peak too. Four of us made it to the peak, while two of our party members hung out at the lake. A nice peak/alpine lake combo. Went up east ridge and cruised down the north ridge.

Up East Ridge, Down North Ridge  Sucess!

We climbed Backdrop Peak after doing a long backpacking trip in the Sawtooth Mountains. It is located above Baker Lake so you have to climb it if you go there. There was a wildfire burning in the White Cloud Mountains so the air was a little smoky.

Route Climbed: East Ridge Date Climbed: October 2nd/04  Sucess!

If you are looking for a relatively short day, this hike is great. Though it becomes a little frustrating towards the top when the actual summit keeps teasin ya.

Neat little scramble from Baker Lake. The summit is actually a lot further west than it looks from the lake.
