Backlit Capitol Peak

Taken from a small hill a short distance from the Hackberry campsites. If i'm oriented right, this shows the north ridge at left, with the northern/northwestern aspect filling most of the frame. The south ridge and the ease/approach ridge that i used to summit are out of view behind the north ridge. Climbing from this northern aspect may go, but we considered descending it and it didn't look so promising just below the summit. January 4, 2007. Copyright sam beer.
