Did this hike with Chris to celebrate his return from a second tour in Afghanistan. Two and a half days of hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains was fun. A glider flew right above the summit several times and then the pilot waved at us.

Beautiful day with very few people on the trail for a Sunday morning. Cool winds kept the temps down.

Did the 3-Niner romp from Dawson Saddle. Very pleasant hike through forest and the best summit of the day for sure. Also tacked on Mount Lewis for a 4 HPS day.

Fun Winter Trip
Amazing amount of snow after all the dry, warm weather. We were able to glissade all the way to the parking lot only stopping in a few short sections to to adjust our descent and stay on route. What a great day!
Glad I came up from Dawson...had the PCT to myself both ways - only had to endure the crowds at the summit.

Vincent Gap
First time was on a windy day, with intense views of the Yorba Linda fires. Second time was with my nagging cousin. Overall, an awesome hike to go on.

Annual Day Hike to Summit
The church I attend annual Men's Retreat is held in Wrightwood. Every year on the Saturday afternoon, I do a B/P summit day hike this year got 4 of the other guys to join for their first ascent of the peak. Lots of snow! Talked to 8 people doing the PCT (different groups).
