Badger Mountain

Badger Mountain

As seen from Columbia Center Blvd and 10th Ave, this pic gives a good feel for how the Badger Mountains appear on the western skyline. Notice the housing that is creeping up the flanks. Both South Badger and Middle Badger have homes close to their summits in a few places. Badger Mtn itself may have the communication towers that have been there a long time, but the home developments were stopped by the Badger Mountain Group that bought up over 750 acres of land on its flanks. This is about the view I had from my yard. Note the snow on the top of Rattlesnake mountain on the right.

Is this where you lived?

I work just over the hill from here on Clodfelter. Been up Badger about 12-15 times now, and even made it up nearby Red Mountain once.

Re: Is this where you lived?

I lived about 10 blocks from where this pic was taken, back down 10th ave, which is behind me. Yes, 12-15 times means you are using the limited resources available there for your conditioning.
