Fun and Scenic Hike
Along with Red Mountain. Some smoke and haze, but the views extended from Snow Mtn in the north to Diablo and Tamalpais to the south.

Afternoon hike in the fog
After Bennett Mountain in the morning made the 10 minute drive over to the Bald Mtn TH. Low clouds and fog meant we had no summit views. Tagged Red Mtn while we were at it making for a 3 CC Peak day. TR is HERE.

Bald Mtn Trail
Hiked this one along with Red Mountain. Hit Hood Mtn and Gunsight Rock next. Very clear, beautiful view from the Pacific to the Sierra right into downtown SF.

Clear view to the Sierra
Mostly paved road to the summit but view to the Sierra was great and Snow Mt had snow as well.

Nice Day
Nice sunny day. Hiked with the wife, beautiful views of the bay. Nice view of Mt st Helena the other direction. A bit windy at the top but still nice

Bald Mountain Summit
A really nice hike to take friends from out of town that is not very strenuous but take water as it does get warm - also if you can descend by 4:00PM you can visit the little observatory. Does anyone know the Jack London Quote that was on one of the overview maps at the top of the peak? It was very beautiful.

Very clear day
Hiked planet trail to brushy peaks and along ridge to bald mountain. descended on road to parking lot. 7.9 miles and great views. Incredibly windy on top and freezing but still enjoyable.
