Ran up with the 12lb weight vest easy with Brit, and then continued on to Park and Flagstaff for a nice sunset loop. Ran up from Deer Valley with my family once before and then ran down to Jordanelle back to our camp spot.
Climbed this one today with my wife for our anniversary. There are mountain bikers applenty on this hill, and it sure looked like a blast. It's a fun hike that you don't have to be a serious hiker to enjoy.
I did this fun little hike with the wifey. Beautiful views from the top.
Andy and my third Bald Mountain in Utah in four days. Nice hike up the Ontario Canyon Trail. Also visited the knob behind the summit, which was deserted. Nice diversion on our way back to SLC Airport to fly home.
From Empire Pass along with Flagstaff Mountain and Park Benchmark.
This will change your life. Know that. If it doesn't then you probably are doing it wrong. Either way I did this with a bike. So that's pretty impressive on multiple scales. All I know is everything has changed.
Biked to the top. It was probably the best thing ever.
Hiked up the ski runs on snowshoes on a cold, sunny day before the resort opened. Moose and deer tracks along the way and plenty of snow this year
Easy to hike to by dropping off of Park BM and heading down to the saddle and up to the summit. Looked a lot different from the last time I was on this summit because I did it with skiis on back in the 90's. It makes for a nice combo to get Flagstaff, Park and Bald on the same hike. The weather was perfect for a mid October day. Started at Empire Pass.
I remember this summit being used as a radar station for military security during the winter olympics in 2002.
4th of 6 along the ridge.
2nd Ascent - Biked up 9/30/12
Started at the pass west of Flagstaff and hiked up Flagstaff, Park, and Bald.
I hiked to these three peaks from Empire Pass. There were several people coming up from the lift in Deer Valley.
Climbed with Park BM and Flagstaff from Empire Pass.
Did this with Park Benchmark as well. Trip report with map and lots of pictures at http://www.willhiteweb.com/park_city_hiking/deer_valley_ski_206.htm
Hiked this peak along with Park and Flagstaff Mountains
