Came up the AT from the notch. It took about a solid two and a half hours to reach the eastern summit. Limited visibility, but quite open summit.
really quite in the winter, not a lot of souls in the summer either. mainly through hikers!
Walked over this one during my thru-hike in 2000.
FINALLY got this 2nd peak...and beyond!
Successful for hitting the first peak...turned back before the second. Georgeous day!!
I think this was about the point where one of my hiking boots broke :-)
