Balfrin summits seen from the ascent to the Bordier hutte. On the left is the Gr. Bigerhorn (3626m), in the middle Balfrin NW summit (3783m) and to the right of it in the far background the true summit of Balfrin (3796m). The glacier in front is one of the arms of the Ried glacier, which joins with another arm that comes from the right to form an impressive ice fall that goes down the valley.
