base of the crux

Climbing up to the "crux" that people always talk about. I didn't think it was really that bad, and exposure was minimal. There are horizontal cracks in the slab, albeit small. But it only took me two hand holds, then two toe holds, then my two hands were on top (and I'm only 5'6"). To be honest, I thought some of the down climbing and up climbing we did later was a bit harder. That said, none of it was entirely difficult.
