BAVARIAFELS  Sucess!

I finally find the way, for reaching with walk and foots only, the western summital structure ! It was in this good agreable and sunny saturday, the 31st of july 2010, near Wilgartswiesen ! I equally find the small and aerian ledge, that you had me explained the last time ! There was no people thereover and I was on the summital part of the Bavariafels, with coming from the neary Wilgartswieser Rauhbergpfeiler ... From the south of the rock, is the ascent too crowded with farns and ticks (a jungle ! ). But from the northern side, the access is easier, but very humid and dark (the path is totally unmarked, very small and steep ... ). The summital panorama was at the top level, it was fantastic ! But with the proximity of the B10's main road, is the site too and too noisy ... What a pity ! This place is one of the most exposed, in all the palatian country. The Bavariafels seems to be unknown by the hikers (but several good climbers are knowing good enough, this amazing and very savage rock ... ). Thanx again and A LOT, dear Gangolf, for your precious infos, about the Bavariafels scramblig possibilities ! It costs the move in this fabulous country, it's now an evidence ! A great massive success, your website ! Please, continue so and never stop it ... See you later, I'm waiting from your answer, please, thanx !!!

BAVARIAFELS  Sucess!

Yes ! I was thereover too ! And the panorama was fabulous, falling deeply into the Queich valley and the town of Wilgartswiesen ! I saw equally, the Höllenberg, the Eselsfels and the Kuhfels, the ruin of Falkenburg, ... I will recoming here, it's sure ! And what for a height : it's terrifying !

Lofty ledge  Sucess!

Climbed the western summit of Bavariafels (after having been turned away by peregrines earlier in the year). Squeezed along a ledge to reach the summit plateau. Nice view and good exposure up there.
