Climbed route a couple of times (2000's)... once starting with the standard pitch 1 (climbers left), and a 2nd time starting with Direct pitch 1. The Direct (to the right of standard) takes you right to start of pitch 3, bypassing the traverse (pitch 2). After exiting above pitch 4 have climbed the ridge to climber's right, and 2nd time for more fun work straight up and to the left after pitch 4 (a couple of short pitches).

Hiked Beacon rock with a couple friends in August 2007 including one who was 79 years old. Great hike and great views.

Dodging showers
Nice relaxing walk. It is very impressive how they cut the trail into the rock.Good views on the way up but the actual summit did not have the views that most of the hike did. Still fun and a good hike to do in between showers.

I walked up the man-made path today. The engineers used pipe railing, small i beams, cement, and pressure treated wooden planks to build this route. Beatiful views, but a strong east wind today.

First time up, and Descent Record/FKTDecided on a whim to do this with my parents. Ran up, took in the view, and then down quick (4:57) for a new downhill record / Fastest Known Time.
