Dear Noondueler, thanks a lot for your comment and also for all the votes you gave me! The Spullersee has, in fact, two dams, one on the north and one on the south end, but I'm not entirely sure about it being altogether man-made (like, for instance the Lac de Mauvoisin and the Lac des Dix). I think it's a natural lake that had it's water level risen artificially by building those two dams, in order to be able to use it as a water power source. But this can easily be found out.
