Climbed the Luseney from the new bivouac at the Valpelline side of the mountain. The bivouac is very beautiful and worth visiting. The normal route from this side is a only recommended in good conditions (not too warm and some snow).

route from Valpelline
Very long route from "la Ferrera"(Valpelline). Climbed directly the north flank on ice.
Route Climbed: SE ridge (up) and N flank + col Luseney (down) Date Climbed: aug 1978
A nice spot for lonely quiet climbs. This traverse of the mountain was fine and interesting, mixing rock climb and glacier work. We hurried back, attacked by wasps, flies, horseflies, enraged by a forthcoming thunderstorm.
