Spreading Bellflower (Campanula patula) is an annual or biennial from the family Campanulaceae. In Poland, it can be found in all of the mountain ranges up to the elevation of 1400 meters. It blooms from May to July in meadows and open forests. Flowers close up for the night and on rainy days. The number of Spreading Bellflowers has increased in the recent years.
