There is a photograph in a silver fram at the summit cairn of the woman that the mountain is named after. She was the first Canadian woman to go to jail for counterfeiting. Joe Cosley , a native park ranger reportidly had a love affair with her and named the mountain, lake, waterfall and creek after her. She became a local folk hero.
