Best Place in the World

I love the Cascades. The Cascade Valley is the most beautiful place on Earth, in my opinion. The views are phenomenal, and there is always a pervading sense of belonging, and being part of everything. Taken on the way up to the Sahale Glacier, September 3rd, 2007.

Yes

It's great to live in a country so diverse and with so many great mountain ranges that we can have so many "Best Places in the World." My Best Place is somewhere in Montana or Wyoming, but yours looks pretty nice, too. I've only been out that way once and would like to return to the North Cascades.

Thanks for the comment! You're completely right about the diversity of this country. I have not had the privilege to see the mountains of Montana and Wyoming, but I would definitely like to once I get a car. The North Cascades is a wonderful place.

Don't worry, I'm sure you will get a
car soon. To me, anyplace is the BEST place
in the world! As long as I can be alone
with my deepest thoughts, and somewhere
within Nature's surroundings. You don't

Thanks for your thoughts. I love all nature very much because I can be alone with my thoughts, with nobody to criticize or judge me. I want to do my best to help the environment, and I have developed quite a closeness to it. Thanks very much for your comment and your advice!
