Big Horn Ram and Couple

This couple was just hanging out watching the ram and letting it do its thing. Obviously the animal had basically no fear of us humans. Not the best photo but the scale gives you an idea of how close this beast was. I'm sure that between his mass, horns and legs he could have easily kicked some homo sapiens' asses had he been so inclined.

Scary...

Seems to be somewhat of a tread in North
America. Wildlife seem to be losing their
fear of humans.

Don't know if that's good or bad..

Yeah every once in a while you read the story about someone being gored by a buffalo or bear or what have you. Seems like it often happens in Yellowstone. In my experience, even relatively harmless animals like deer tend to be more aggressive in national parks because they have learned that they are not hunted and that humans will sometimes give them food.

They might have, since it is grizzly country there. But more likely than not I think you are right, no pepper spray.

All they (probably) had was pure luck to
guide them through..

And, LUCK doesn't always win baseball games!
