First time  Sucess!

Started real early and made quick progress. Donned crampons at the top to gain ridge and easily summit. Good glisading made for quick decent.

Fun route  Sucess!

This was a great route. Better than the other ones on the mountain because it is steeper, hence progress is made faster.

Answering the call

From my home in Draper the radical slope rising S out of Big Willow cirque is plainly visible. These last few weeks it has been calling me. Today I answered the call. The climb from my lunch spot in the cirque to the goat bed at the top of the headwall (10,600')took almost an hour in difficult snow. It was wonderful. I did not go on up to Lone Peak this day. I have been there before.
