AKA Big Long Yellow Mountain  Sucess!

Hiked from Carver's Gap. Thought it would be a quick detour from the AT, but turned out to be over 2 miles to the summit and back. Big Yellow is certainly one LONG ridge. :)

Climbed with Eleutheros.

from carver's gap to yellow and back on July 4th  Sucess!

Beautiful panoramic views. This "mountain" is not the highest around but has a vast open grassy bald maintained by a herd of bovines. The summit is a place to relax and take it all in if you dont mind a few cow pies. watched fireworks in all directions from round bald's summit that night.
