You convinced me with higher resolution of the picture :-). Strange but true. Now the snow doesn't catch your eye completely and doesn't look like an insurmountable barrier on the way to the sea.

This photo......is in my opinion perfectly balanced. I would not change anything. Except, perhaps, your signature, Leo, could be moved a bit away from the centre, or even may be on the frame. Otherwise, it is a professional composition, where the foreground and the background are perfectly matched.
