East ridge "trail". Nice views of the Gorge from the top. Do an online search for "Landslides in the Western Columbia Gorge" to find info on massive landslides in this area.

Snowy Day
With Karl from the Hot Springs Resort parking lot. Snowshoes from about halfway. Sunny day in January. Lots of coyote tracks. Up over South Birkenfeld and then down off the east side to the road that runs through the bowl back to the Table/Birkenfeld saddle. Long day, probably 12-13 miles and over 4000 feet of elevation. Great workout.
