Took the Tennessee Rock Trail to the summit. Nice hike. Would have been nicer if there wasn't soo many people on the trail. Guess that's what I should've expected on a weekend.

I used the Tennessee Rock Trail to hit the summit of Blackrock Mountain. The day was unusually warm (seems to be happening more and more the older I get) with temperatures in the low 80s when what is normal for this peak at that time of year would be about twenty degrees cooler.
The mountain is still very beautiful and the area north is so far safe from the urban sprawl that's chewing away at all points south.
