Striking!Shapely face and peak. I do a lot in the Sierra but not the Rockies. Blanca would be a good one to climb.

Correction?Isn't this the North face? Since Gash ridge is on the left, this would be the NF.

Re: Correction?Shadowed sides in pic are north facing. In general this is the east side of the mountain - and east side of the continental divide I suppose too.

Re: Seasonthis is early fall, aspens leaves in a very early stage of turning and up high an early season snow storm dusted the peak and covered it in verglas
