Blue Glacier from its...
Blue Glacier from its overlook. The conditions on the morning of July 5, 2003 were miserable as this photo shows. Three teams can be seen making their way across the glacier: the first two can be seen in the red circle; the lead team of four can be seen in the blue circle. The weather would stay this way (and get worse) until we reached the summit that day.
