Blueberries!

Some species of subgenus Cyanococcus of genus Vaccinium, on the slopes of Mt Abrahahm, ME. These berries are common, but I rarely stop to photograph them - I'm too busy stuffing them into my mouth! There are multiple recognized species (lowbush, highbush, northern, Canadian...) and though I can distinguish some from others, I've not learned which name goes with which traits. September 1, 2007
