3 days on the loop
On day 3 of the 7 Lakes loop. Saw bear, a goat and a couple of golden marmots. Used ice axes a couple of times between Hoh Lake junction and Lunch Lake. Thick fog at the summit- not much to see.
We took a three-day weekend for a hike up to the High Divide, and the views from on top of Bogachiel were amazing!

2-Day Backpacking Trip
Date approximate. Spent the night at Deer Lake on the way up from Sol Duc, then over Bogachiel and back down past Heart Lake. Extremely rewarding hike. I haven't been back to the Olympic Peninsula since this hike. Gotta get back there someday.

Crossed the peak on a 2-day trip with my father. We started at the trailhead in the Hoh valley and finished at Sol Duc. Met a black bear close to the peak :)

Nice Loop8.5 hours round-trip. We went up past Heart Lake and down past Deer Lake for the loop. Saw 10 goats on the ridge.
