Bohinj lake

Bohinj lake

Bohinj lake from the east. More than 1200 m above its north shores the dormant giant Pršivec is rising. Other, much higher mountains are more remote.

Idyllic

Great shot Vid, so tranquil! This is new angle for me, where did you climb in Ribcev Laz to take it? I didn't notice any such high hill near the village, or I forgot :-)

Re: Idyllic

You're right! It's not high at all. The trail from Ribcev Laz on Rudnica goes mainly through forests, but in one or two places the view opens. And I knew it from before, seing others pictures.

Re: Idyllic

Now I see. Judging from the church position I though this was south of Sava Bohinjka and I know there is nothing there so near Ribcev Laz to provide this panorama. Forgot how close ridge of Rudnica is to the river and Ribcev Laz :-)
