Re: Carrying a board upYeah, I know,I know... I usually skin up on a Splitboard. But that spring day the snow was pretty hard, so walking was just as easy as skinning. Actually that was frozen corn, hence the crampons.

Re: Carrying a board upTrue - good answer. In fact I´ve received a bloody nose on a couple occasions when skinning up in icey conditions.
By the way a friend of mine used to have a dog and he´d put his front paws on the back of the skis and get a lift going up.
