Hiked with my brother from twin falls. We left at 5:50am and summited right at 11:00am. Still a few long patches of snow with really big exposure at this point in the year. One on COR that was about 25 long and only about 2 feet wide at the top. COR was for sure not as bad as people make it out to be. Take your time. Make sure you have good hand holds and foot holds. We used microspikes for the snow bridges and trekking poles. The last 800ft scramble to the summit was super steep and definitely a scramble. It was very ledgy and almost no exposure. There are quite a few routes you could take that are equally obnoxious but very doable.
Hung out at the peak for probably 45 min. It was such a gorgeous day and with so much snow up top of the surrounding peaks it was more than spectacular.
4 hours down. Met 2 dudes from WY/CO that summited ahead of us by about an hour and a guy from Omaha who decided to come back later in the summer after the snow melts.

Conquering Idaho's tallest point
The highest mountain in Idaho and the highest I've personally climbed. This one never lets up so train hard and get ready to die on summit day.

Great day hike
Tyler and I climbed on the first Wednesday in October. Fortunately there was no snow to be found, and conditions were excellent. There were 6 other people on the mountain that day with two making the summit, and four turning back at COR. It was a memorable climb!

Highpoint #19
My first highpoint after moving to Idaho, and it of course had to be the highpoint of my new home! Great climb, lots of vertical, incredible views. Managed to help my out of shape boss and his in better shape wife summit with me. A great trip.

1st Time
First time up Borah. This was straight up. Only do this if you want a "9-hour Stairmaster" experience. But worth every step! Incredible!
First time on a State High Point and I plan on doing more State High Points in the upcoming years.
Amazing views. Very few people. Highly recommended.

Lightning!
Made the summit. On the way down was nailed by a rain and lighting storm. Found shelter in the tree line. Climbed with Steve, Ingo, and Pete
And not the last! This was a great summit, unbelievable views, and beautiful weather also. Only the downclimb off COR made me even slightly nervous, the rest is just fun scrambling. Only 4 people on the mountain for this mid-week climb.
With MountainHikerette. Started at 4:05 am, got to Chicken Out Ridge at 8:00, summit just before 10:00, left top 10:35. Back down around 3:10. There seems to be multiple possible lines on Chicken Out Ridge. There is some real exposure in places. Other spots have some loose stuff. There are usually a lot of holds, but be sure to test them.

No snow on the snowbridge.
A lot steeper than I thought but the notes on SP that we read beforehand were actually pretty accurate. Another account indicated that once you leave timberline the trail was "brutally steep!" HAHA I laughed at that when I read it but wasn't laughing when I got there! No snow on the snowbridge and no issues on COR. Beautiful day with little wind.

Ran out of time
Got a somewhat late start for the day and my group decided that we'd set a 1pm cutoff for turning around. We were a bit below chicken-out ridge before hitting the cutoff, so it wasn't destined to be. Weather was fantastic and views were incredible nonetheless!

no snow to chicken out on! with WMC group lead by Dennis G.. distant views somewhat obscured by wildfire smoke. 2nd time: 12 Sept 2014 - unlimited visibility on this day! (again with Dennis' WMC group).
