Border Route - Bridal Falls

This was the most stunning surprise I encountered in my limited hiking in 2020.  On a day trip along the 65 mile Border Route that runs just south of the Minnesota/Canada border, a spur trail lead to an awesome collection of waterfalls issuing from the top of the rocks.  This view only shows about half of the falls that stretch along maybe 100 yards or so.  

I am guessing that I caught Bridal Falls as its upstream lake (Crab Lake) was still processing the winter snow load , though none was in evidence in my trip this Spring.

This lifted my spirits quite a bit, even with the numerous ticks I colected that day.
