I've done this hike several times and I love it when I see the sheep. I've had the most success with sightings when it's drizzling rain or sunset time.

Hiked this in elementary school, middle school, high school, college and law school! One of the coolest hikes around. Beautiful water scenes at the end are definitely worth the trip.

Climbed the standard route of Indianhead. Nice canyon.

Three times!
I've hiked up Palm Canyon three times, first when I was in High School in winter 1993, second time in spring 2005, third in December 2013 with my 22-month-old son. First time we saw bighorn sheep! Second time was lush with wildflowers. Third time my son had a great time at the Oasis waterfall.

Gorgeous
Hiked from the campground to the palm oasis via main trail and returned on the alternated trail. Beautiful area. My first time in the Anza Borrego Desert and I will be back many times.
