Boundary Peak scree slope. June 1, 2006. IT is imoprtant to follow the switchback paths that offer the least resistance, ideally heading towards the least steep slopes. However, it is very important to head towards the saddle next to the small subpeak on the right. Going staight up to the highest visible point is a waste of energy because once you reach the top of this highest visible point, you would then have to drop a couple hundred feet back down to the ridge that heads the rest of the way up Boundard Peak.
